We have had a fantastic time at several local events over the last few weeks. Our first was the Scott Penlington Tournament on 22nd June and our presenter Jill Booth supported the charity football tournament with music and announcements. Tim Sheldon will be coming to the studio soon to update us on how the event went and funds raised.
We then supported Goostrey Rose Day on 29th June. Presenter Alison Wright compered the event and Debra Cummins provided the music. It was a very hot day but lovely to meet lots of people in the Goostrey community at this very traditional and enjoyable event.
Most recently we provided the PA and music at the Holmes Chapel Village Fair on 7th July. What a fantastic day hosted by Terry Love, David Oke and Marie Bennett. We also organised the stalls and the event was so busy. The sun shone and it seemed to bring out many in Holmes Chapel village.
